Recommended if U visit Makasar City
Affordable price, generous food portion, generous toppings (fried onion, lime). This is a must visit place. I usually eat here once a week during every short trip to Makassar.
MoreFair price and great taste
Im not too crazy on meat so my Makassar culinary experience is just OK. I dont feel any urge to return. One thing i remember from the coto Makassar taste is, its very reminiscent of Arabic cuisine. It might be the hebs.
MoreOne of the most delicious coto Makassar
Nice food with a nice prize
Food 3/5Taste : Their broth more on mild side rather than powerful spice. Lack of seasoning and spice. Meat is tender but contains a lot of fat. Some people mention they use milk or coconut milk to add richness in their broth.Ingredients : Good ingredients.Halal : Yes.Price : Average.Recommend Menu : Coto Daging dan Lidah.Ambience 2/5Cozy : No. A little bit dirty.Instagrammable : No.Seats availability : Plenty.Wheelchair accessible : Yes.Service 5/5Table service : Excellent. You can request for additional broth, lime, or fried onions.Serving time : Fast.
MoreMe and my friends really like the coto. It's very delicious.
The taste was exceptional. I ordered coto with mixture of beef and others, then eat with ketupat. Visiting this restaurant during peak hours like lunch or dinner could be challenging, because the size of the restaurant is relatively small, little bit uncomfortable for a large group.
MoreWorth to try
Good taste...........
Good Food but uncomfortable place
This is the place you can enjoy coto makassar
Delicious food and good price
For me, it's best coto in townRasa cotonya paling pas
Coto Makassar is mandatory when visiting the city & Coto dg Tayang is one of the best in town. Service is fast, efficient and coto is great! If you like you can also ask to buy their mixed spices to prepare at the convenience of your home. As always coto place is hot and non ac to ensure fast turnover so you can have your coto and get going in around 20mins top. Super efficient. Coto is a deep soup made of peanut & beef stew. Beware if you alleegic to nuts this is not for you. you can choose the content of your soup with beef meat, tounge, lung, skin, cheek etc. Or simply mix version. Additional soup without the content is usually free. highly recommended!
Moreendesss cotonyaaaa
Recomended
The taste of coto makassar H daeng tayang is very yummy...you must try this food traditional.
MoreYou can buy the basic ingredients if u want to cook your own coto at home
The famous coto makassar that YouTube videos on.
Coto Daging or Coto Campur...delicious
Makassar "soup"...so delicous, and full of taste...
The best Coto in Makassar, so far...
I would recommend coto with ox-lung. Very good
Must try.... For me the best in town.... Even They are selling ready to cook coto paste... Just adding meet, beef stock and ready to eat....
MoreThey are really good and tasty. They are pretty well-known in makassar. This Traditional restaurant is on the top tier among few others. You’ll need 30.000 - 50.000 Rupiah or Approximately USD 3.00 to enjoy A bowl of coto, some ketupat/burasa,a bottle of mineral water, and some chips.
MoreMy husband really love the thick soup/stew of beef parts. The chilly paste is influenced by korean soybean paste/gochujang which make it superb. Shud give it a try!!!
MoreThe best coto in makassar.. 👍🏻
Good taste
My 1st choice to enjoy Coto Makassar! Theirs are the most hit my taste : • Not too much spices grounds in its soup / broth which usually make people choked, • Choices of ingredients were plenty & fresh, well handled, & of course, it's halal. • It's Chili, also Ketupat & Burassa' is yummy & blend well with the taste of Coto, don't forget the lime. Humble place with friendly services makes you enjoy your coto here even more..
MoreBest coto makassar so far
Taste good. Affordable price.
The taste is ordinary until you add lime, chili sauce, and ketchup (if you like). Although the bowl is so small, the meat pieces are many. You may eat that with rice cake but you have to pay more. My friends said that this is the best coto Makassar because in other places, the taste is ordinary or too sweet and the gravy is thin. The place is quite hot but there are some fans. I gave 4 stars because for me, 5-stars food does not need extra seasoning. 😁
MoreTaste good, but need improvement on the place. Its just uncomfy.
Expensive..
Good food, just a bit pricey. 2 bowl of coto and drinks (bottles of mineral water) cost almost 90kThe taste was undoubtedly great
MoreTaste is good, the meat is soft, and the soup is thick
The place wasn't so crowded when i got there, good value for money and good food.. :)
Moreone of the classic 'coto' that remain in business
Good place to eat, especially when you can't eat coto nusantara this coto is the best substitute
MoreThe peanut soup is not too strong, maybe recommend for tourist.
They serve coto in a thick broth. Rp 25k for a portion of mix coto. Mix coto is combination of meat and inside organs. Located near famous sombu opa street where you can walk around and buy local stuff such as minyak tawon (traditional oil)
MoreGood food, fast service
For the cabengers
Coto tastes delicious with a signature peanut spice. But the chili sauce doesn’t kick enough for me, lack of “tauco” i guess.
MoreDelicious food, but the place need improvements
Good taste with a worth price
They have an authentic Makassar beef soup called Cotto. We may also choose whatever we want to put into the soup. It could be beef meat, lungs, feet, skin, liver, etc....
MoreOne of the place to enjoy makassar's food, coto.
